#DontTrashLISound Video of the week. Plastic straws that end up in the water are really harmful to marine life, including in #LISound. They get broken into pieces and begin to look like food. They are the second most commonly ingested item found in sea turtles, according to the Network for Endangered Sea Turtles. People are beginning to take notice and won’t use the plastic straw, but what if you still enjoy the occasional sip?
