The Long Island Sound Study (LISS) is a cooperative effort involving researchers, regulators, user groups and other concerned organizations and individuals. These people are working together to protect and improve the health of the Sound.

Stewardship Site Selection Grant: NEIWPCC is seeking request for proposals to develop a GIS-based site selection and prioritization process for stewardship efforts in the Sound's watershed. See rfp details
Volunteer for the Sound
From beach cleanups to monitoring tagged horseshoe crabs, you can volunteer to help restore and protect the Sound. Search Get Involved
Volunteers are needed to collect data and tag horseshoe crabs in May and June, and all materials and training are provided. For more information, visit Project Limulus or call Jennifer Mattei, 203-365-7577 (CT) or Larissa Graham, 631-632-9216 (NY).
