Deadline Extended for Climate Change Proposals

The New England Interstate Water Pollution Control Commission (NEIWPCC) is seeking applicants to work on two separate climate change projects for the Long Island Sound Study:

  1. Monitor climate change indices (sentinels) at locations within the coastal area boundary of Long Island Sound. Visit the Long Island Sound Study CCMP Enhancement Award Program page to download the RFP. Proposals are due by Dec. 14, 2012.
  2. Review and synthesize existing Long Island Sound datasets to identify climate change trends that would inform management decisions and help to direct future monitoring programs.
