The National Fish and Wildlife Foundation has announced that the Long Island Sound Futures Fund 2015 Request for Proposals (RFP) is available at www.nfwf.org/lisff
The Long Island Sound Futures Fund (LISFF) makes grants totaling close to $1 million every year to protect and restore the Long Island Sound and its watershed. The LISFF supports projects that involve communities in improving the Long Island Sound through implementing innovative water quality improvements such as rain gardens and permeable pavers, restoring parks and open spaces, and educating and engaging the public within the LIS Watershed.
