The Long Island Sound Study (LISS) is a cooperative effort involving researchers, regulators, user groups and other concerned organizations and individuals. Its website is maintained by one of LISS’s partners, NEIWPCC, through a grant from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.

As part of the email request, you may be sending personally identifying information such as a name or an address. The contents of the e-mail may be shared with staff from LISS’s partner agencies who can best draft a response to you. The contents of the information is not used for any other purpose.
LISS provides opportunities for you to receive web-based and print newsletters, e-mail alerts, and other materials on an ongoing basis by subscribing through forms available on the website. The subscription data on these forms are collected by LISS for the sole purpose of distributing the materials requested and are not used in any other way.
Visitors to our website have the option to discontinue receiving communication from us and/or reserve the right to discontinue receiving communications by way of email or newsletters. To discontinue or unsubscribe to our website please send an email that you wish to unsubscribe to info@longislandsoundstudy.net. If you wish to unsubscribe from any third party websites, you must go to that specific website to unsubscribe.
