Bronx River Watershed Initiative Grant Program

The National Fish and Wildlife Foundation (NFWF) is pleased to announce that the Request for Proposals for the 2012 Bronx River Watershed Initiative has been posted at www.nfwf.org/brwi.  Approximately $1.1 million is available for stormwater retrofit projects, including Low Impact Development (LID) initiatives, to address the root causes of pollution from stormwater outfalls to improve water quality and river ecology along the Bronx River. Proposals are due by 5 pm Eastern Daylight Time on Friday, June 1, 2012 in the Easygrants online application system.
 
NFWF will be holding on-site workshops for applicants in Westchester and the Bronx on Wednesday, May 9, 2012.  Representatives from NFWF and the New York State Office of the Attorney General will be in attendance to answer your questions. NFWF strongly encourage applicants to attend a workshop, especially if this is the first  time applying for BRWI funding. Register Here
