A Long Island Sound Study coastal vulnerability assessment outreach was conducted in order to obtain and summarize feedback from local experts on the scoping reports that had been developed on climate change vulnerabilities for the EPA’s National Estuary Programs in the northeast from Maine to New York. The scoping reports and associated vulnerability matrices were developed by Battelle for the EPA following the EPA’s workbook steps as described in Being Prepared for Climate Change: A Workbook for Developing Risk- Based Adaptation Plans (EPA 2014).
