The Sustainable and Resilient Communities Work Group (SRC) was established to help advance progress on select objectives and implementation actions of the LISS CCMP Theme 3, Sustainable and Resilient Communities.

In late 2021, five SRC Extension Professionals were hired by the Connecticut and New York Sea Grant Programs to implement the interlinked activities as defined in the work plan in order to realize the above outcomes.
