Corrie-Folsom O’Keefe, Bird Conservation Programs Manager for Audubon CT, center, with tripod, leads 2017 Coastal Certificate participants on a coastal birding tour of Stratford Point at the mouth of the Housatonic River. The Coastal Certificate, led by Judy Preston, Long Island Sound Study Connecticut Outreach coordinator, familiarizes gardeners with current environmental issues unique to our coastal waters and Long Island Sound, while learning about ways to landscape more sustainably.
