The annual Hunts Point Fish Parade in the South Bronx, which will be held this year on June 16, starts at Hunts Point Riverside Park along the Bronx River, winds through a mile-long route of neighborhood streets, and finishes at Barretto Point Park along the East River. That’s the site for the Hunts Point Summer Festival, which features a main stage, live entertainment, and information and activities by local groups. Prizes for the Hunts Point Fish Parade are given to the best floats and costumes. The parade started in 2004 to welcome the Fulton Fish Market when it relocated to Hunts Point from Manhattan.
