Meeting at Fishers Island

Justine Kibbe, the Island Naturalist with the Fishers Island Conservancy (front and center) discusses the Parade Ground grasslands restoration project at  the recent quarterly meeting of the Long Island Sound Habitat Restoration and Stewardship Work Group. The Conservancy and the Henry L. Ferguson hosted the meeting, which included presentations about the island’s important habitats such as grasslands and eelgrass meadows.
