UConn Early College Experience (ECE) is an opportunity for students to take UConn courses while still in high school. MARN 1001, 1002 and 1003 are courses that are offered at a dozen Connecticut high schools and Fishers Island School, NY. Students focus hands-on activities on the LIS and its watershed. An end of the year high school student symposium hosted at Marine Sciences highlights the projects and research conducted by the high school students.
