Marine Scholars

Students within a 20 mile radius of Avery Point are invited to apply to the marine scholars program. The program is a competition and students are selected based on their essay, letter of recommendation and grades. Students attend the coastal perspectives lecture series, receive one week of camp with Project Oceanology and participate in the Little Narragansett Bay research conducted by MARN 4001 students in conjunction with CUSH. This project is supported in part by Connecticut Sea Grant.
